Simple and easy to make is this kathal ki sabzi made in a pressure cooker. The sabzi is flavorful and has a nice taste and meaty texture of the cooked kathal. For those who do not know - kathal is the hindi name for raw unripe jackfruit. Along with mangoes and some berries, jackfruit is also an Indian summer fruit.

The ingredients needed to make Kathal ki sabji:
  1. Get 7-8 piece kathal
  2. Make ready 1 Chopped onion
  3. Take 2 chopped tomato
  4. Get 3 chopped green chilli
  5. Prepare 1/2 spn Salt red chilli turmeric Coriander powder
  6. Get 3 spn oil
  7. Make ready 1/3 cup water

From my first introduction to date, I have always enjoyed eating kathal ki sabzi. KATHAL KI SABJI (JACKFRUIT CURRY) This dish is the Non-Veg delight for many Vegetarian people. It looks like pull apart meat but definitely tastes like vegetarian. So, Jackfruit is not really favorite vegetable for many:but quite popular in North-Indian cuisine.

Instructions to make Kathal ki sabji:
  1. Fry Kathal
  2. Heat Cooker add rest oil add green chilli and onion saute it for 1 min add tomato and masala add kathal mix it add water cover the lid give 1 whistle and slow the flame for 2 mins
